Winning Productions is based in Auckland, New Zealand, directed by Stephen Bain, creating original theatre as well as site-specific productions for unconventional theatre spaces, art galleries, museums, shop fronts and public spaces. The work is highly visual and integrates video technology, conceptual design and imaginative drama.
Touring works includeTurbulent Flux (2005), Stories told to me by Girls (2005 – 2007) and Baby, where are the fine things you promised me? (2007 – 2011), Die Henkel Spur (2008), My Heart is a Beast (2008-9). Larger scale theatre productions have included The Arsehole (Auckland 2006) and Kafka’s The Trial (Auckland 2008), When Animals Dream of Sheep (Auckland, Netherlands, France 2011), SOUNDIG (Auckland, Perth WA, Montreal CA, 2013), I wanna be na na nah (Auckland 2015), The Intergalactic History of Pairs (Wellington 2016) and The Floating Theatre (Auckland 2017).
